Pokesdown – Bournemouth’s Vintage Quarter! Valentines Event – 12th February

Love Pokesdown?  Love Valentines?  Love someone special? Then you’ll love Pokesdowns Valentines Fayre!  On Sunday the 12th of February from 10am to 4pm The Pokesdown Collective will once again be getting together for a special Valentines themed event. 

Following the success of the Christmas Event the Pokesdown Collective are now looking forward to Valentines!  This event is set to be bigger and better than the last and will feature local shops offering Valentines themed gifts, an Independent Traders Fayre in The Tattoo Parlour Cafe, an Open Day at the Metropolitan Community Church on Hannington Road, Street Entertainers, even the Dorset Troopers will be there!  There will be much on offer to spoil your loved one, the Independent Traders Fayre will be hosting stalls including; vintage clothing and accessories, handmade cards, handmade jewellery, Vintage Photobooth, handmade cakes, handmade decorations, and much much more.

Caroline Read from The Tattoo Parlour Cafe said: “We love Pokesdown and we love Valentines!  We are so excited to be hosting another Independent Traders Fayre with such fantastic traders all offering something unique.   The Christmas event was amazing, with over 2000 people enjoying themselves and supporting the local economy.  We are looking forward to sharing the Valentines love with the wonderful Pokesdown community.”

Why not bring your loved one with you and enjoy Bournemouth’s Vintage Quarter, take a stroll down the street and delve into the shops, peruse the stalls and maybe even have a coffee and slice of cake.  Or if you are sneaking out without your loved one and you need a little help, just ask the shopkeepers or stall holders and they’ll be more than happy to help!
